GRADE DETAILS
Maple:
Grade AAA: Finest, selected wood with enhanced figure and flame. Superior Density for maximum tone. Suitable for Master level instruments
Grade AA: Excellent Tonewood with moderate flame. Tonally perfect for the master level, simpler presentation than the AAA. Suitable for the widest range of instruments.
Grade A: Standard Tonewood with superior density and tonal properties, but lighter flame.
Spruce:
Grade AAA: Superior Spruce from Swiss Mountains. Tight, even grained with narrow summer/winter grainlines.
Grade AA: Excellent Swiss Tonewood with moderate grain.
Grade A: Good Swiss Tonewood, variegated grain, widening towards the outer flanks.
